“A house as old as this one becomes, in time, a living thing.”
This may be true, Tom Hiddleston, but do they all become creepy malevolent things, too? The second trailer for Guillermo del Toro’s haunted house movie, Crimson Peak, is somehow even more terrifyingly atmospheric than the first one. Now we get a hint of the dark plot behind the film, and a better sense of Mia Wasikowska’s character, Edith. Check out the full trailer below!
Crimson Peak will be here to scare the life out of us in October 2015!
I’m sorry. I wasn’t listening. Tom Hiddleston was making mouth words about…stuff. I don’t know.
This looks so cool. I like that this seems to be in the “Devil’s Backbone” and “Pan’s Labyrinth” style. No modern director does moody, atmospheric fantasy better than Del Toro.
I am with you all the way Bert Clere.
No one does dark and moody like Del Toro.
For me though the secret lies in the relationships between the characters.
Cronos and Pan’s Labyrinth both have great young female characters that give substance to the mood…
Perhaps another bug of the upgrade: something seems to be wrong with the embedded video – for some reason I cannot watch it in full screen with Firefox, only follow the link to youtube.
